VFR800

When I was looking for a VFR, one of the only problems I had with it was its bland looks.   Most of the late models were single colours, making their looks uninteresting.

My VFR was a W plate (2000) 50th Anniversary VFR 800-FIX, which was I believe was the 1999 mode.   Apart from a low mileage, what interested me was the red/silver colour scheme, which was far more appealing than the singl colour.

How do you change a pretty much perfect Sports/Tourer?   Well, having always been besotted with Ducati's, seeing a Wolf Racing underseat system was too much to pass up on.   So this was fitted along with a Pyramid carbon-look hugger, to  keep the road-grunge off the cans and shock absorber.   This gave a real clean look to the bike and got it plenty of attention, many people thinking that the exhaust was a standard fit.

The Wolf exhaust I would recommend to anyone, it gave tremendous looks and an interesting sound, for a road legal system.  The Pyramid hugger was less of a success.  It appeared to make contact with the tyre and over time got smaller and smaller on the unsupported right side.
